Q. Why do some items on the store have "Provided by..." in the description?
A. Lake Avenue Church has many ministries that act independently. As a result, different ministries may have items listed on the site for which they are responsible. If you have a question about an item with a "Provided by..." link, or Contact information, contact the responsible ministry directly.
Q. I have a question about an item, who do I ask?
A. If the item has a "Provided by..." link, simply click it to contact the LAC Ministry responsible for that item. Otherwise, visit the Contact Us page and fill out the form at the bottom of the page - someone will get back to you shortly.
Q. I need to change or cancel my order, what should I do?
A. Unfortunately, orders cannot be changed once placed. If you need to change an order, you will need to cancel the order and place it again manually. Your outstanding orders are listed on Your Account page. If needed, you may cancel your orders from there.
Q. Can I add an item to or remove an item from an order I’ve already placed?
A. No. Orders cannot be changed once placed. You can simply place a new order for the additional items.
Q. How secure is the LAC Web Store store?
A. In general, making purchases or donations through the online store is more secure than making purchases at the supermarket. Our store backend is based on AspDotNetStoreFront, one of the most secure e-commerce frameworks available. AspDotNetStoreFront is Visa PABP 1.4 certified and our site is AlphaSSL secure. Furthermore, we do not store any credit information at all. All transactions are handled exclusively by the bank. You can be confident that your personal and financial information are absolutely secure.
Q. Is the store synchronized with my MyLAC (Secure) account?
A. No. The MyLAC (Secure) website is currently being phased out for a major infrastructure upgrade and we are no longer able to migrate data out of that database. You simply need to create a new account for the LAC Online Store.
Q. I’m trying to migrate my MyLAC (Secure) account information into the store, but it’s not working.
A. Importing account information from MyLAC is no longer supported as MyLAC is being phased out. It is possible some text on this website still refers to migrating account details. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause. To use the LAC Online Store and Contribution Center, please simply create a new account for use on the store.
Q. I’d like to order a specific sermon, but I don't see it listed on the store. What should I do?
A. Because the LAC Web Store is still relatively new, fresh content is being added all the time, however it may be some time before our entire catalog is listed. To ensure we meet your unique needs, we will gladly special order any sermon that is not yet listed on the store. Please contact
